Gladiator Sandals: Fierce or Hot Mess?

I’m channeling Amy Poehler-channeling Christian Siriano because the gladiator sandal is one of those trends that is provocative and a tad puzzling. When I first saw gladiator sandals at Nordie’s in the Spring, I was pretty skeptical. I mean, just take away a few of the straps and you’ve got a basic, granny-looking sandal, right?
